Cabinet decides to accept $100 million concessional loan

The government has decided to accept a $100 million concessional loan from the Asian Development Bank provided under the budgetary assistance.
A Cabinet meeting held on Thursday decided to accept the loan of Rs13.26 billion, said Minister for Communications and Information Technology Rekha Sharma, who is also the government spokesperson.
The meeting decided to amend the criteria on rescue and relief of disaster victims and approved the memorandum of understanding between Nepal and Qatar on youth and sports.
The meeting transferred Sudurpaschim Principal Secretary Narayan Prasad Sharma Duwadi to the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supplies. Joint Secretary Hari Prasad Lamsal has been assigned as the principal secretary of the province.
