After a 28-year-old man from Banmuduwa in ward 2 of Bansgadi Municipality got electrocuted at a field on Tuesday, police arrested the owner of the field on Thursday.
According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Tulsiram Aryal, information officer at the district police office, the man died after falling into a fence that was erected to protect crops from wild animals.
Preliminary investigation shows the owner had installed the fence without seeking permission from the division forest office, police said.
A Nilgai (blue bull) was also found dead along the same fence some time ago, Aryal said.
