Man injured in sharp weapon attack in Kathmandu

A man was injured after he was attacked by a sharp weapon at a house in Tilganga in the Capital on Monday morning.
According to police, Sabir Hussein, 38, from Kalaiya Municipality-21 of Bara, sustained severe injuries in his right thigh and back in the attack. He is undergoing treatment at the Sinamangal-based Kathmandu Medical College.
Senior Superintendent of Police Dinesh Raj Mainali, spokesperson for Kathmandu Valley Police Office, said a pistol was recovered from the scene.
Police said they are searching for the assailant.
