As many as 14 people were injured in a bus accident in Lamahi of Dang district along the East-West Highway on Monday morning.

According to Dang District Police Office, the bus heading to Surkhet from Pokhara crashed at Lamahi Municipality-4 causing the casualties.

Deputy Superintendent of Police Janak Bahadur Malla, spokesperson of Dang District Police Office, said the bus skidded off the road and fell some 10 metres down after the driver lost his control of the steering.

The injured are receiving treatment at Lamahi Hospital, he said.
