22 injured in Dang bus accident
The bus heading to Surkhet from Kathmandu overturns at Lamahi Municipality-9 causing casualties, say police.

At least 22 people were injured in a passenger bus accident at Shivakhola in Dang along the East-West Highway on Tuesday morning.
Police Inspector Lal Bahadur Shrestha, the in-charge of the Amiliya Area Police Office, said the bus heading to Surkhet from Kathmandu overturned at Lamahi Municipality-9, causing the casualties.
Among the injured, six passengers are undergoing treatment in Lamahi, 11 in Kohalpur and five at Nepalgunj Military Hospital in Banke.
Shrestha said a preliminary investigation suggests the accident happened due to over-speeding.
Police have detained the bus driver and investigating the case.
