Police have arrested four boys, all residents of Panchapuri Municipality, on charges of raping a 13-year-old girl on the night of September 21. 

According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Laxman Bahadur Shahi, spokesperson of the District Police Office, Surkhet, all the arrested are under the age of 19, and the preliminary investigation of the police has confirmed it was a planned rape. 

The arrest was made after the parents of the girl registered a complaint. 

Further investigation is going on, and action will be taken accordingly, said Shahi.
