An unidentified body of a man was found in Salleri Community Forest of Triveni Rural Municipality in Salyan on Wednesday.

According to Police Inspector Santosh Khanal, spokesman at the District Police Office, efforts are being made to find out the identity of the dead person.

A preliminary investigation report by the Luham Area Police suggests that the man was killed a couple of days ago, as the body has started to decompose.

The body has been sent to the district hospital for a post-mortem. Further investigation is going on into the case, said Khanal.
