Work to widen the Galchhi-Trishuli-Rasuwagadhi road is underway at a snail’s pace.

According to Dhruba Kumar Shrestha, the chief of the Galchhi-Trishuli-Rasuwagadhi Road Project, around 55.5 percent work has been completed so far. The project said the road widening work has been delayed due to the negligence of the construction company.

The Galchhi-Trishuli-Rasuwagadhi road is a national pride project that has been deemed as a strategic road network that connects the southern and northern neighbours.
