Nepal recorded 30 new Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours.
The new cases were confirmed through 1,630 tests—820 through RT-PCR and 810 through antigen—performed during the period, the Ministry of Health and Population said on Thursday.
According to the ministry, 10 PCR-confirmed coronavirus cases were reported in the last 24 hours, taking the nationwide infection tally so far to 1,003,184.
A total of 20 people tested positive for the virus through antigen tests, the ministry said in the daily report.
With no Covid-related death in the last 24 hours, the nationwide death toll since the pandemic began stands unchanged at 12,031.
According to the ministry, 991,033 infected people have recovered from the disease so far, 31 of them in the last 24 hours.
The number of active cases stands at 120.
A total of 12,884 people received the Covid-19 vaccine in the last 24 hours.
