Rastriya Swatantra Party candidate Swarnim Wagle has widened his lead as vote counting is underway in Tanahun-1.
As per the latest update, Wagle is leading against his closest competitor by a margin of 6,835 votes. He has garnered 15,958 votes. Govinda Bhattarai of the Nepali Congress has received 9,123 votes.
Likewise, CPN-UML’s Sarbendra Khanal is third with 5,166 votes.
