Nepal records 106 Covid-19 cases in last 24 hours
The new cases were confirmed through 1,488 tests.Post Report
Nepal continues to record an uptick in Covid-19 cases with 106 new cases in the last 24 hours.
According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 64 cases were confirmed through RT-PCR and 42 through antigen tests.
A total of 1,488 tests—541 PCR and 947 antigen—were performed during the period.
As of Thursday, 6,025,888 PCR and 1,554,220 antigen tests have been carried out across the country.
The country did not report any Covid-19 related death in the last 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry. The countrywide death toll since the pandemic began stands at 12,022.
According to the ministry, 989,616 infected people have recovered from the disease so far; 74 of them in the last 24 hours. The number of active cases stands at 435.
Nepal on Wednesday had reported 121 new cases and one death.
