Four Deputy Inspector Generals recommended for promotion to Additional Inspector General
The names will be now forwarded to the Cabinet for approval.

The Ministry of Home Affairs has recommended the promotion of four Deputy Inspector Generals (DIGs) of Nepal Police to Additional Inspector General.
The promotion recommendation committee of the ministry recommended the promotion of DIGs Sandeep Bhandari, Sudeep Giri, Meera Chaudhary and Tek Bahadur Tamang.
Bhandari, Giri and Chaudhary are currently deployed to Nepal Police headquarters in Naxal and Tamang to the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority.
The names will be now forwarded to the Cabinet for approval.
