British State Minister meets Prime Minister Dahal
Discussions on matters of mutual interests and bilateral relations were held during the meet.Post Report
British Minister of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Anne-Marie Trevelyan held a meeting with Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal at the Prime Minister's official residence Baluwatar on Friday.
According to the British Embassy in Kathmandu, Trevelyan and Dahal, during the meeting, held discussions on matters of mutual interests and bilateral relations.
Trevelyan’s visit marks 100 years of the signing of a treaty of friendship between Britain and Nepal in 1923 which formalised relations between the two countries.
The visiting British minister also observed the Arun III project in which Britain has made a financial investment through the Board of Investment.
On Thursday, the British Embassy in Nepal had organised a program to mark the 100th anniversary of the Treaty. Trevelyan also participated in a heritage tour with Sunita Dangol, Deputy Mayor of Kathmandu Metropolitan City.
