Madhav Nepal’s brother Upadhyay dies after falling off roof
Saroj Kumar Upadhyay, an engineer by profession, was a central committee member of the CPN (Unified Socialist).

CPN (Unified Socialist) central committee member Saroj Kumar Upadhyay died after falling off a coffee shop located on the top floor of a building in Shankhamul on Saturday.
Upadhyay, who is also the brother of Unified Socialist Chairman Madhav Kumar Nepal, was taken to Civil Hospital by two youths soon after the incident.
The leader was rushed to the Maitighar-based Annapurna Neuro Hospital for further treatment where he died while undergoing treatment, according to Nitesh Poudel, an aide to Chair Nepal.
Deputy Superintendent of Police Nishant Srivastava of New Baneshwar Police Circle said an investigation into the incident is underway.
An engineer by profession, Upadhyay, was active in the party of late.
