Nembang seeks votes from Unified Socialist for presidential election
Nembang, a candidate from the CPN-UML for the president’s post, is scheduled to meet with the leaders of the Rastriya Swatantra Party and Rastriya Prajatantra Party later in the day.Post Report
Presidential candidate Subas Nembang met CPN (Unified Socialist) Party Chairman Madhav Kumar Nepal seeking votes from the party in the upcoming presidential election.
CPN-UML leaders along with Nembang reached the Unified Socialist’s office in Aloknagar at 11 am on Thursday morning to ask for votes in the presidential election.
Nembang, during the meeting, urged Nepal to vote in favour of him.
UML Vice Chairman Bishnu Paudel and Deputy General Secretary and Publicity Department Head Prithvi Subba Gurung, Secretary Raghubir Mahaseth and Leader Bimala Rai were present during the meeting.
From the Unified Socialist, along with Nepal, Vice Chairman Pramesh Hamal, General Secretary Beduram Bhusal, Deputy General Secretary Prakash Jwala and secretariat member Ramchandra Jha participated in the meeting.
Nembang is scheduled to meet with the leaders of the Rastriya Swatantra Party and Rastriya Prajatantra Party later in the day to hold discussions regarding the presidential election.
Nembang and Nepali Congress candidate Ram Chandra Paudel are vying for the post of president in an election slated for March 9.
