UML takes action against Ghanshyam Bhusal, Prabhu Sah
They have been expelled from the party’s general membership on the charge of involvement in anti-party activities.Post Report
The CPN-UML has taken action against leaders including Standing Committee members Ghanshyam Bhusal and Prabhu Sah, expelling them from the party’s general membership.
A Secretariat meeting of the party held on Saturday took action against them accusing them of involvement in anti-party activities during the recent federal and provincial assembly polls.
The party also took action against central committee members Upendra Sah, Kundan Kusahawa, Rampreet Ram, Badri Neupane, Rita Sah, Ganga Chaudhary and Tek Bahadur Balampaki, said Prithvi Subba Gurung, the party’s deputy general secretary and chief of the party’s publicity department.
Gurung added the party also relieved Wangde Sherpa, Khem Subedi, Bhakta Bahadur Adhikari and Laxmi Shah from all responsibilities.
Likewise, the party removed the name of Jaitun Khatun from the closed list of the proportional representation category of the House of Representatives on the charge of activities hampering the party.
