Naresh Kumar Shahi of the CPN (Unified Socialist) has been elected as a provincial lawmaker from Bajura-1.
According to the Office of the Chief Election Officer, Shahi defeated CPN-UML’s candidate Baldev Regmi by a margin of 2,341 votes.
Shahi got 10,973 votes, while Regmi bagged 8,632 votes. Karna Bahadur Biswakarma of the CPN (Maoist Centre) received 2,341 votes.
