Congress maintains lead in Syangja-2 and Bajura, Maoist Centre in Dolakha

Candidates from the Nepali Congress-led ruling alliance have maintained their lead in the vote count in three constituencies.
Candidates from Congress are leading in Syangja-2 and Bajura, while a candidate from the CPN (Maoist Centre) has maintained his lead in Dolakha.
Dhan Raj Gurung of the Congress is leading in Syangja-2, garnering 28,426 votes, while Padma Kumari Aryal of the CPN-UML is placed second with 22,645 votes.
In Bajura, Congress’ candidate Badri Prasad Pandey is leading the election race garnering 14,215 votes. Karna Bahadur Thapa of UML is second receiving 15,557 votes, as per the latest update. The vote counting is currently stalled in Bajura.
Ganga Karki of CPN (Maoist Centre) has maintained his lead in Dolakha with 10,737 votes. His closest competitor Bal Krishna Siwakoti of UML has bagged 9,447 votes.

The Congress has topped the seat tally as its candidates have registered victory in 55 constituencies. The UML is placed second with a win in 44 constituencies.
The CPN (Maoist Centre) is placed third in the seat tally winning 17 seats as the CPN (Unified Socialist) is placed fourth with registering victory in ten constituencies.
