Nepal’s ambassador to Malaysia Poudel presents letter of credence

Newly-appointed Nepali ambassador to Malaysia Dilli Raj Poudel has presented his letter of credence to Malaysian King Sultan Abdullah Sultan Ahmad Shah during a special function at the royal palace.
According to Nepal’s Embassy in Kuala Lumpur, King Sultan Abdullah congratulated Poudel on his appointment and discussed multifaceted issues of bilateral relations between the two countries with the envoy.
Ambassador Poudel expressed his commitment to taking the bilateral relations to a newer height during his tenure and extended greetings and invitation for a Nepal visit on behalf of President Bidya Devi Bhandari.
King Sultan Abdullah expressed his desire to visit Nepal to see the world’s highest peak, Mount Everest.
Recent elections held in Nepal and Malaysia were also discussed, according to the Embassy.
