Shekhar Koirala takes early lead in Morang-6

Nepali Congress leader Shekhar Koirala is leading the vote count in Morang-6.
As of 3:55pm on Monday, Koirala has garnered 249 votes. Lal Babu Pandit of CPN-UML is trailing Koirala with 196 votes.
Pandit was elected to the House of Representatives under the first-past-the-post category from Morang-6 in the 2017 polls.
Meanwhile, Rastriya Swatantra Party candidate Yadav Kumar Pradhan is placed third in the vote tally garnering 74 votes.
