Abrar H Hashmi has been appointed new Pakistani ambassador to Nepal.

Pakistani Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif on Saturday approved the appointment of new ambassadors of Pakistan for different countries.

Hashmi had earlier worked as Consul General of Pakistan in Huston, Texas, USA. Before joining as Consul General in Houston, he had worked at the Pakistani Foreign Ministry and Pakistan's missions abroad.
