Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has congratulated Benjamin Netanyahu, the newly-elected Prime Minister of Israel.
In a tweet on Friday, the prime minister said he is looking forward to working together to further strengthen Nepal-Israel bilateral relations and cooperation.
In the fifth election held in the nation in the past four years, Netanyahu won a majority of seats in the legislature.
Out of the 120 seats in parliament, Netanyahu and his right-wing allies took home a total of 64 seats. According to the Israeli electoral commission, his own Likud party received 32 seats, while ultra-Orthodox parties gained 18 seats and a far-right coalition garnered 14 seats.
