Three journalists, including Kantipur Daily’s Fatima Banu, have received the Barbara Foundation Covid-19 Distinguished Award for their coverage of the pandemic.
The two other journalists that have received the award are: Sagar Budhathoki (onlinekhabar.com) and Barsha Shah (deshsanchar.com). The awardees receive a purse of Rs50,001, according to the foundation.
