Litterateur DP Bhandari dies at 85

Prof DP Bhandari, a renowned litterateur, died on Saturday. He was 85.
He was admitted to HAMS Hospital in Dhumbarahi, Kathmandu since March 4 for pneumonia, hypertension and respiratory-related issues. A hospital source said Bhandari died at 11 am.
Bhandari retired as a professor at the Central Department of English at Tribhuvan University after teaching for 35 years.
Besides his literary works, Bhandari has written numerous articles for both English and Nepali dailies.
