SARLAHI: Journalists in Sarlahi staged a sit-in in front of the District Administration Office (DAO) on Sunday, demanding the authorities to detain the culprits who had assaulted journo Som Diyali. In an initiation of the Federation of Nepali Journalists district chapter, the journalists reached the DAO with a rally and staged a sit-in for half an hour. The agitating journos claimed the local administration is reluctant to arrest the culprits even though the district court had issued arrest warrants a week ago. A group of three assailants had thrashed journalist Diyali at Hariaun on February 12. (PR)
