Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) on Sunday filed corruption case against three persons in Special Court for irregularities in construction of physical properties in Mithila Region.
CIAA has filed case against Om Prakash Yadav, Ajaya Kumar Yadav and Anirudra Mandal. Om Prakash is the chairperson of Ram Janaki Temple Compound Wall Construction Consumer Committee, Ajaya is Chairperson of Bramhasthan Consumer Committee and Anirudra is overseer at Tourism Office in Janakpur.
The anti-graft body has sought recovery of Rs 135,000 from Om Prakash, Rs 131,000 from Ajaya and Rs 266,000 from Anirudra. CIAA, in the charge-sheet, accused the trio produced fake bills and pocketed the amount without doing any work in the region.
