Three persons were injured when a rhino from Chitwan National Park entered settlement and attacked locals at Devchuli municipality in Nawalparasi district on Saturday.
Police Office, Rajhar, informed Ganga Bahadur Somai of Devchuli07, Dal Bahadur Pariyar of Devchuli-16 and Krish Bhandari of Devchuli-2 were injured in the attack. Police said they are receiving treatment at a primary health post in Dumkauli and are in critical condition.
The rhino became violent after hearing noises from the locals and attacked the locals. It also attacked and damaged a car (Ba 7 Cha 5654) travelling on the highway. It entered back into the national park after the attack.
