Chitwan police arrested 19 gamblers from a chicken farm in Khairahani, Chitwan on Friday night.
Police said they were gambling at a chicken farm of one Mahadev Chaudhary at Khairahani Municipality-10. Police also recovered Rs 241,565 and 16 sets of cowrie shells used in the gambling from them.
Chitwan Police Office spokesperson DSP Durga Raj Regmi said they will initiate action against the arrested persons.
