A man was died after an unidentified group attacked him with an iron rod at Hetauda Sub-Metropolitan City, Makawanpur district on Wednesday night.
The deceased has been identified as Ramesh Rana Magar, 45, of Hetauda Sub-Metropolitan City-12.
The group attacked Magar at the suspension bridge linking Hetauda Sub-Metropolitan City-11 and 12 in the district.
Police have arrested five persons for their alleged involvement in the incident, according to the District Police Office, Makawanpur.
Police said that they are looking into the case.
