Two of the critically injured persons have been taken to Ghorahi and three to Nepalgunj for advanced treatment.
Nepal Police and Armed Police Force (APF) had rescued the injured passengers and taken them to the Rapti Zone Hospital at Tulasipur. The jeep (Lu 1 Cha 7516) met with an accident at Motipur Gate along the Tulasipur-Ghorahi road section.
Police said the jeep overturned as it was carrying more people than its capacity. The jeep driver is absconding.
