A Chinese citizen has been arrested in possession of undeclared USD 126,400 from Tribhuvan International Airport on Monday.
The suspect has been identified as Ersha with passport number ED 4829478.
The Chinese citizen was arrested with the undeclared USD from the departure area while he was about to board a flight to Guangzhou of China from Kathmandu, police said.
Police said that he had concealed the USD in a false bottom of his luggage.
Further investigation into the case is underway, police said.
