Two persons died in a jeep accident at Khurpa in Kushe Rural Municipality, Jajarkot along the Panchkatiya-Byulidhunga road section on Tuesday.
The deceased have been identified as jeep driver Kamal Pariyar, 23, and Lure Alam, 21, police said.
Pariyar died on the spot while Alam breathed his last on the away to the district headquarters for treatment. Alam used to work at the Rapti Grill Factory.
The incident occurred when the four-wheeler (Bhe 1 Ja 575) which was transporting a generator to install a gate at the Laxmi Prapti Higher Secondary School at Khurpa skidded off the road and fell some 300 metres down, police said.
