Students of RajarshiJanak Secondary School of Kurtha in Janakpur Sub-Metropolitan City-21 are attending their regular classes on the road after their classroom and school compound were demolished for road expansion drive.
Janakpur Sub-Metropolitan City-21 Ward Chairman Rameshwor Mahaseth had ordered to bulldoze the classroom and school compound in mid-April for widening the road. The school administration said that they were forced to hold classes on the road as the local authorities have remained indifferent to construct another classroom six months after the demolition.
The students were studying inside the damaged classroom earlier. However, their studies have been affected as they have to bear the brunt of massive dust entering the classroom.
The students are attending their classes on the road by wearing masks.
