A father killed his two minor children and committed suicide at Shantitle of Auraha, Jitpur Simara-4 in Bara district on Sunday.
According Area Police Office, Simara Inspector Subhas Hamal, 40-year-old Surendra Ram killed his sons—5-year-old Subin Ram, and 3-year-old Bipin Ram—and committed suicide by hanging himself.
The bodies of all the three deceased have been taken to Birgunj Hospital for postmortem.
Surendra would mostly show signs of stress and was taking excessive amount of alcohol, said Inspector Hamal adding that an attempted murder case against Surendra is sub-judice in the court for attacking his mother with a knife and seriously injuring her.
