A 19-year-old girl was raped in Tanau Rural Municipality-2, Palpa district on Thursday, a day before the Bijaya Dashami.

A 19-year-old girl was raped in Tanau Rural Municipality-2, Palpa district on Thursday, a day before the Bijaya Dashami.
The Palpa District Police Office said that Kiran Gaha, 20, has been arrested in connection with the incident.
Following the incident, a team under the command of Inspector Amrit Bhandari reached the incident site and arrested Gaha.
DSP Bishwo Mani Pokharel said that they are looking into the case.
The rape cases have increased in the district recently.
