5 injured in BP Highway jeep accident

Five members of a single family were injured in a jeep accident near Selfie Danda at Kamalamai Municipality-2, Sindhuli, along the BP Highway on Monday.
Police said the family members were heading home at Ranibas in the municipality to celebrate Dashain festival when the jeep (Ba 2 Cha 2113) went out of control while overtaking another vehicle along the highway and fell off the road.
The injured have been named as Arjun Tamang, 36, his wife Sunita Tamang, 28, daughter Supriya Tamang, 7, son Albert Tamang and brother Kumar Tamang, 38. Critically injured, Arjun, Supriya and Kumar were airlifted to Kathmandu for treatment in a Nepal Army chopper.
The injured mother and son are receiving treatment at district hospital.
