Police has arrested two persons for murdering a 10-year-old girl of Aurahi Municipality in Dhanusha district.
Dhanusha police arrested Binod Mukhiya, 32, and Nathuni Pandit Kumhar, 23, for allegedly murdering Manika Yadav on Friday night. SP Gobinda Thapaliya said the two lured the girl to go to a nearby Durga Puja where they promised to buy her a plate of chow mein and murdered her.
Police suspected the two might have murdered the girl after raping her. Police, however, said the full details will come out only after an investigation.
The girl’s body was found buried some 100 meters away from her home. Investigation into the case is underway.
