Speaking at a programmeorganised in the Capital on Wednesday, Dahal said the party has not taken any decision to accept the resignation letter of Kathmandu Constituency-7 lawmaker Ram BirManandhar.
Preparations are underway to bring in leader Bam DevGautam, who had lost to Nepali Congress candidate Sanjay Kumar Gautam with a margin of 753 votes from Bardiya in the recently held elections, in the Parliament through by-election.
Lawmaker Manandhar has already handed over his resignation letter to the party to accommodate Gautam.
Organising a press conference in the Capital on Tuesday, lawmaker Manandhar had said that he had already handed over his resignation letter to the party. He said that he is ready to resign from the post of lawmaker if the party gives the approval.
On a different note, he said that nothing can stop the government from completing its five-year tenure.
The former Prime Minister said that serious discussions are being on how the work can be done effectively for the development, good governance and stability of the country.
The former Maoist supremo said that their attention has been drawn towards the questions that the government has not been able to improve relations with the neighbouring countries properly.
