Locals set fire to a truck after it hit a motorbike and killed a person at Khairahani-Parsa Bazaar along the East-West Highway in Chitwan district on Thursday.
According to Chitwan District Police Office, bike rider died after the truck (Na 5 Kha 9861) heading towards east hit the bike this afternoon. A women riding pillion on the bike was critically injured and has been taken to a hospital for treatment.
The incident happened a day after a person died when a tipper struck a motorbike he was riding on in Suryabinayak, Bhaktarpur.
