Three members, all female, of a same family died after being buried by a mound of clay here on Saturday.
The District Police Office, Dang confirmed the deaths of Meena Kumari Chaudhary, 35, Shyam Kumari Chaudhary, 30 and Rejina Chaudhary, 4, of Maurigaht of Rapti rural municipality-5.
As stated by Deputy Superintendent of Police, Ram Prasad Gharti, the incident happened near the Dolai River at Rapti-4 as the three had been there to collect clay meant for daubing the house. They died on the spot and the bodies have been brought to the Lamahi Hospital for post-mortem examinations. RSS
