Teen girl injured in acid attack dies

An 18-year-old girl, who was critically injured in an acid attack at Chandrapur Muncipality-6 in Rautahat district on September 13, breathed her last during the course of treatment at the Kirtipur Hospital on Monday morning.
The deceased has been identified Samjhana Kumari Das of Chandrapur Municipality-6.
Two teenagers—Samjhana Kumari Das and Sushmita Kumari Das, 15—daughters of Jadav Lal Das, were attacked with acid while they were asleep at their home at Chandrapur Municipality in Rautahat.
Ram Babu Paswan, Das’s neighbour, was arrested six days after the incident from Kirtipur Hospital.
Sushmita is undergoing treatment at the same health facility.
