A woman armed with a handgun opened fire at the Rite Aid Company in Maryland, United States on Thursday, killing four persons including a Nepali woman.
The deceased Nepali woman has been identified as 41-year-old Brinda Giri. The incident site is about 34 miles (55 km) northeast of Baltimore, Maryland.
Giri had moved to America from Nepal four months ago.
The assailant was the temporary employee of the Rite Aid Company, police said.
Giri is survived by her husband and two children—a 14-year-old daughter and an 11-year-old -son.
Another Nepali national Purna Acharya was injured in the incident.
