Ex-policeman arrested for duping police job aspirants

According to the police, former police constable Kali Bahadur Lama, 51, of Charikot, Bhimeshwor Municipality-1 in Dolakha district and currently residing at Pepsicola, Kathmandu was arrested from the Capital on Wednesday.
District Police Office Chief SP Krishna Hari Sharma informed that Lama had taken money from around ten people including one Ganesh Bhandari, 20, of Badakhola, Sharda Municipality-3 in Salyan district assuring them of job at the police. SP Sharma informed that Lama took Rs250,000 from each individuals on the pretext of getting them a job in the vacant position of a constable who had fled from the police force.
SP Sharma further informed that other people who were duped by Lama are coming forward to register their complaints against the arrestee.
