A boy died and two others were injured in separate lightening incidents in Makwanpur district on Thursday.
According to the police, Rojan Lama, 11, of Padampokhari in Hetauda Sub-Metropolitan City-13 died after being struck by lightning while playing in the front yard of his house. Lama died while undergoing treatment at Churehill Hospital.
Likewise, Sabitri Luitel, 40, of Hetauda Sub-Metropolitan City-40 and Krsihna Lal Syangtang, 37, of Thingana in Bakaiya Rural Municipality-11 sustained injuries in separate lightning strikes.
Both the injured are receiving medical treatment at Hetauda Hospital and are reported to be in normal condition.
