An aircraft belonging to Yeti Airlines with registration mark 9N-AHW and carrying 21 passengers and three crew members from Nepalgunj to Kathmandu had skidded off the runway on Saturday night. However, no human casualty has been reported.
The airport services came to a halt since 8:35 pm Saturday, disrupting all domestic and international flights and leaving thousands of people stranded.
The aircraft was removed from the runway at 8am Sunday, according to a Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal.
