Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli held a meeting with Myanmar President Win Myint in Kathmandu on Wednesday evening.
Myint arrived here in Kathmandu on Tuesday to attend the 4th Bay of Bengal Initiative for Multi-Sectoral Technical and Economic Cooperation (BIMSTEC) summit slated for August 30 and 31.
Likewise, PM Oli held a meeting with Chief Advisor of the Interim Government of Bhutan Dasho Tshering Wangchuk.
Earlier in the day, Myint visited Lumbini, the birthplace of Gautam Buddha, where he offered his prayers at Mayadevi temple, visited Myanmar Gumba, and meditated at Pandit Rama Yoga Centre during his visit.
