This is the third arrest of Bishwokarma, a former minister in Jhalanath Khanal-led Cabinet.
Bishwokarma was arrested from the premises of Kathmandu District Court on the charge of exploding Improvised Explosive Device (IED) in Bhojpur, an official of the Metropolitan Police Range, Kathmandu, said.
According to him, Bishwokarma will be taken to Bhojpur and his case will be tried there.
Earlier on August 7, Bishwokarma was arrested from Dakshinkali area in Kathmandu for extortion. Later, he was detained on the charge of setting fire to a cell tower of a private telecom company, Ncell, in Kavre, soon after he was freed by the Supreme Court on August 17.
