A person died and 15 others were injured in a bus-truck collision at Jugedi Khayerkhola in Bharatpur Metropolitan City-29 of Chitwan district along the Narayangadh-Muglin road section on Wednesday.
The deceased has been identified as bus driver Kajiram Yogi, 40, of Arupokhari, Gorkha.
According to the District Police Office, Chitwan, the bus (Na 4 Kha 7513) en route to Gorkha from Narayangadh collided head-on with the truck (Lu 1 Kha 7406) heading towards Narayangadh at around 4 pm today.
The injured are undergoing treatment at the Purano Medical College Teaching Hospital, police said.
