The body of a Nepali migrant worker who died in Qatar has been brought to Nepal on Monday.
According to Qatar-based Hamad Hospital, BigyanBasnet, 27, of BarahKshetra Municipality-2 in Sunsari district, who was working at a marble company in Sanaya-45 in the gulf nation for the past 4 years had died in an accident at August 3.
Basnet had gone to meet a friend on August 2 and had been out of contact since then.
The news of the Basnet’s death came to light after the hospital’s Mortuary Department contacted the company and the Nepali Embassy regarding the matter.
