Netra Bikram Chand-led Communist Party of Nepal (CPN) District Working Committee Secretary Dhruba Khadka has been arrested from Bharatpur on Thursday.

DSP Shiva Sharma Acharya, spokesperson at the District Police Office, Chitwan, said that Khadka was detained from Krishnapur of Bharatpur-7.

DSP Acharya said that Khadka is an absconding fugitive. A charge-sheet of arson and organised crime has been filed against him. 

Though a district in-charge of the Chand-led CPN was apprehended a week ago, he managed to run away by attacking police personnel with the brick.
